Police concert

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to go out with my sisters to the Police concert at Usana. It was so awesome. I haven't been to a concert in forever and I grew up listening to Sting. My sister had front row tickets and we were further back. So my brother-in-law was nice enough to come back and swap us spots so that we could all have a chance to go up front and see Sting. It was so fun. Thanks Renee and Shauna for inviting me and a big thanks to Scott for being so kind and allowing us to go up close. Here are some pics that we got of the concert.

24th of July

This 24th we went camping with Joel's family at Hobble Creek canyon. The kids loved playing in the dirt and playing with cousins. On Friday a few of us went boating at Utah lake. We went wake boarding, wake skating, and tubing. After boating, we headed back to our campsite. Grandpa Ron built a rope swing for the kids. They loved that. Overall it was a lot of fun for us and the kids. Later Saturday we went to a famiy reunion for my family. It was fun seeing more cousins and Aunts and Uncles. Thanks to everyone for making this weekend a fun filled one.

1st Zoo trip 2008

Last week we went to the zoo with Grandma Harmon. It was Avree's 1st trip. Kaleb loved the white alligator and Avree pretty much loved all the animals. The bird show was a lot of fun. They flew right over our heads, almost touching us. We were there for quite a while and both kids were awesome. We also rode on the new carousel. Both kids didn't want to get off. Thanks Grandma for taking us. It was a lot of fun.

Avree wasn't so sure she liked this at first. But once it was done, she didn't want to go.

4th of July

I know the 4th was a while ago, but I'm a slacker and don't post often. So now I'm going to post about our 4th of July. We celebrated by having breakfast with Joel's family. While we were there, the kids did an obstacle course. Eventually it became a father/son obstacle course. Kaleb had a lot of fun. The obstacle course had water in it, so eventually it became a water fight. Later that night we got together with some friends for a BBQ and then did our own fireworks at our house. Overall it was a very relaxing day. So here are some pics of our fun day....

So the other day we were just hang'n out at home. I was cleaning up dinner while Joel was reading a book on the couch. I could hear Avree, but couldn't see her from where I was. So I asked Joel to check on her. As soon as he saw her, he just started laughing and saying that I had to see her. I honestly didn't because I knew she did something I wasn't going to like. So I went to see and found her on the floor pulling out all the sheets from the wet wipes bag. I really think she almost had the whole bag empty. Joel was lucky enough to clean it up. She sure had fun and was so quiet.

St. George Trip

A few weeks ago we went to St. George and stayed with my parents at their condo. It was so nice. It was a brand new place. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The weather was so hot, each day we would swim in the morning until lunch and hang out inside the condo until dinner. Overall it was very relaxing besides the fact that I got sick while we were there. But hey, it was free! Thanks mom and dad. We had a great time.
