St. George in November

So we took another trip to St. George with joel's parents. Thanks to my parents for purchasing a home down there. We took some really fun rides on the rhino this trip. We rode over to the sand dunes and let the kids play in the sand. They loved jumping in the sand and sledding down the hills. Joel was so proud of me driving, he had to take a picture.

Kaleb was trying to grab his shoe. It kept sliding down the hill as he was trying to get it.

4 months and cereal

Okay, I can't believe Tayler is 4 months already. She is growing amazingly. She weighed 13 lbs. at her appointment. She is doing great. She is sleeping through the night and is overall a very happy baby. We started feeding her on rice cereal. Here are some pics of the exciting time. She didn't really care for it.

I love it!!

So precious

Pumpkin Time

So this year we carved our pumpkins on Halloween. My favorite part is gutting the pumpkins. I love the smell and feeling of the slimy guts. Since no one else in the family likes it, I got to do all 3 of them. Of course the kids had big ideas for their pumpkin. Kaleb wanted his to say GI Joe and Avree wanted Tinkerbell. I did a traditional face on mine. So unfortunately, I some how forgot to take pictures of the kids this year in their costumes. So if anyone has some, I'd love to see them. This year Avree was a witch and Kaleb was a GI Joe guy. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures. I guess that's what happens when you have a 3rd child. Oh and Tayler was a red hot chili pepper. She didn't like it very much, so she wasn't in her costume much. Hopefully next year I'll be better.

Birthday boy is 6

I know this is way overdue, but I needed to post about Kaleb's birthday. I can't believe it's been 6 years. Kaleb has grown up so fast. I can still remember when they placed him in my arms and he pooped all over me. Yeah, fun memory. He was such a beautiful baby boy. He has brought so much joy to our family. He was such a good baby. I love that he's kept his spikey hair since he was a baby. Even though now he sometimes asks for a mohawk. Not sure I spelled that right. He loves drawing and reading and of course super heroes. He's so smart and funny. I love the surprising things he comes up with. Sometimes it just blows my mind how much he picks up and understands. We love you so much Kaleb. Thanks for entertaining us.

St. George in October

We took another trip to St.George in October. We went with Joels' sister and her husband. We took the rhino down and went for a ride. It was pretty cool. We did run into some rain at the end of our ride. We were also able to go to Tuachan and watched Odyssey Dance perform Thriller. That is so much fun to watch. I've seen the production many times, but not here. My brother-in-law loves Michael Jackson, so he was way excited. It was a great weekend.

Yep, even Tayler goes on rides with us

Preschool Fall Field trip

Avree's preschool group took a field trip to a local pumpkin patch. The kids loved it. We were able to go through a corn maze, play in a giant pumpkin, and see farm animals. At the end, the kids were able to pick out a pumpkin. Avree loves her preschool teacher and loves learning. She asks me almost everyday if she has school. She is so much fun.

New family Pics!

For some reason taking family pictures is not a lot of fun. This year we had them taken at Murray Park. As soon as we got there, I had to feed Tayler. So Sarah(photographer and friend) started taking pictures of the kids. Avree was such a ham. She completely cheesed it up and did everything Sarah asked her to do. Kaleb on the other hand, was his normal goofy self. He likes to pull funny faces and not smile. Sarah is so amazing and was able to get some good shots of him. Such a stinker. I'm not sure I love the location this time, but that's my fault. Here are some of my favorite pics!

My favorite picture!!

I love this picture too. Doesn't Kaleb look like he should be in a Norman Rockwell picture with me getting mad at him? Classic!

Youth Conference 2010

We just went to Youth conference over UEA weekend. We took the kids camping in Green River and hiked Little Wild Horse Canyon, just outside of Goblin Valley. It was so beautiful. I love hikes like this. The way the water carves the rock is amazing. We took Tayler with us, since she's pretty much attached to me for a while. She did great. She slept all night long and hardly cried at all. She did really well on the hike to. Joel and I liked this area so much, we want to come back with our family. There were lots of little kids hiking here. What a perfect time of year for this trip. I think the kids really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the delicious green river watermelon. Yummy!!

Stopped at a park in Price for lunch. This is Ben and Matt just relaxing.

YW president, Lindsey. Ready to get on the road.

Got lost on a dirt road for about an hour.

End of soccer season.

So many of you know that we signed Kaleb up for soccer last year and it didn't go so great. Well this year, I wasn't going to and Kaleb said he wanted to do it again. Well were we in for a big surprise. He didn't fight me at all to go to practice or to games. He actually got in there and ran this time. He really loved being goalie. I think because you don't have to run. He wasn't an all star, but he had fun and that's all that matters. Way to go Kaleb!! We are so proud of you.

Goalie!!

His coach gave them medals. Super nice!
