When you fall, fall hard!!

Wow! So some might already know what happened to Kaleb yesterday. He was going to preschool with my friend Aubrey. He was running down the driveway to go inside and tripped and fell right on his face. The results were pretty brutal. My friend brought him back to me. He was bleeding from his mouth and had a huge goose egg on his head and lots of scratches on the side of his face and hands. We took him to the ER because we didn't know if he had any other serious injuries to his face and his finger hurt. So they did x-rays and he was okay. Then we went to the dentist. They did some x-rays on his tooth and found out he had broken it completely in half. So needless to say they had to pull it out. Poor Kaleb was traumatized over what happened. He didn't like the laughing gas on his face and I think was just overall scared. The dentist was able to get the root of his tooth out of his gums after a while of digging... poor kid. But he is resting well. He's still not quite sure about a missing tooth. He didn't want to eat, talk, or smile until his next tooth came in. We are working on it. His spirits are much better and he actually let me take some pictures of him. Progress!!

Happy Birthday to me...

So, I know that no one else is going to say it, but it was my birthday on the 11th. I turned 27!! Wow, I can't believe I'm approaching 30. I still feel the same as I did in high school. I definitely don't look the same. But I'm so grateful for all that I have. I'm so lucky to have a husband who is such an amazing father and supports me in staying home with our children. I can't imagine having to leave them everyday. He works so hard to support and provide for us. I love my kids. They are amazing. They know how to push my buttons sometimes, but then they sure know how to turn on the charm as well. They are so beautiful and I love them very much. I have such wonderful friends and family to support me each day. I love you all and thanks for making my 27 years the best.

Easter 2009

This year was pretty crazy. With the wedding the same weekend as Easter, we weren't really able to do much. We went to our ward easter egg hunt Saturday morning and then did wedding stuff the rest of the day. We have early church, so we didn't do anything Sunday morning. So after church, we had some neighbors come over and did an Easter egg hunt with them. It was great. We had over 92 eggs. Wow! Later we went to my moms for another egg hunt and Easter dinner. It was such a nice day. We bought Kaleb a bike for Easter and the kids both got helmets. As you will notice, they loved them and wore them most of the day. I think they both look super cute.

Good thing he has all that gear on. That tree looks dangerous!

Loni's wedding

Joel's little sister, Loni, got married over the weekend. They were married in the Manti Temple. What an amazing temple that is. Loni looked so beautiful. We are so happy for her and JB. Congrats Loni and JB. We love you both very much.

Field Trip

Kaleb had a field trip today for preschool. We went to the fire station and to the grocery store so they could learn about healthy eating.(Which my kids really don't understand) Kaleb wasn't too into the grocery store, but Avree was. They gave them samples to try and she was right up there every time. Once we got to the fire station, Kaleb was pretty excited. We got to go inside the fire truck and ambulance and even see a real fireman in his gear. He thought it was pretty cool. We were going to go to the park for lunch, but it is still pretty cool here. I can't wait for warm weather. Here are some pics of our adventure today.

Cheesy smile. Got to love it!

Avree wishing she was one of the preschoolers.
Funny thing: While we were at the grocery store, the guide told the kids about pineapples. She said " Pineapples grow on trees. And when they are ready, they fall off like apples. Some people even climb the trees to get them." Um wait a minute, I thought pineapples grew in the ground. Am I wrong?
