New family Pics!

For some reason taking family pictures is not a lot of fun. This year we had them taken at Murray Park. As soon as we got there, I had to feed Tayler. So Sarah(photographer and friend) started taking pictures of the kids. Avree was such a ham. She completely cheesed it up and did everything Sarah asked her to do. Kaleb on the other hand, was his normal goofy self. He likes to pull funny faces and not smile. Sarah is so amazing and was able to get some good shots of him. Such a stinker. I'm not sure I love the location this time, but that's my fault. Here are some of my favorite pics!

My favorite picture!!

I love this picture too. Doesn't Kaleb look like he should be in a Norman Rockwell picture with me getting mad at him? Classic!

Youth Conference 2010

We just went to Youth conference over UEA weekend. We took the kids camping in Green River and hiked Little Wild Horse Canyon, just outside of Goblin Valley. It was so beautiful. I love hikes like this. The way the water carves the rock is amazing. We took Tayler with us, since she's pretty much attached to me for a while. She did great. She slept all night long and hardly cried at all. She did really well on the hike to. Joel and I liked this area so much, we want to come back with our family. There were lots of little kids hiking here. What a perfect time of year for this trip. I think the kids really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the delicious green river watermelon. Yummy!!

Stopped at a park in Price for lunch. This is Ben and Matt just relaxing.

YW president, Lindsey. Ready to get on the road.

Got lost on a dirt road for about an hour.

Amy enjoying our delicious lunch.

The group right before the hike.

Doesn't Tayler look comfortable?

End of soccer season.

So many of you know that we signed Kaleb up for soccer last year and it didn't go so great. Well this year, I wasn't going to and Kaleb said he wanted to do it again. Well were we in for a big surprise. He didn't fight me at all to go to practice or to games. He actually got in there and ran this time. He really loved being goalie. I think because you don't have to run. He wasn't an all star, but he had fun and that's all that matters. Way to go Kaleb!! We are so proud of you.

Goalie!!

His coach gave them medals. Super nice!

Avree enjoying the game.

Tayler chillin with dad.

Run Kaleb run!!

Still boating? It's September 27th!!

Wow! I can't believe how warm it's been. We went boating for our 9 year anniversary. Seriously weird we've been married that long. We went with Joels brother Jesse and his family. They were gone all summer, so it was fun to do something with them. It was a beautiful day. The kids loved tubing and swam a little. The water was a little chilly. After boating, we went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. So delicious!! Highly recommend it. Especially the avocado eggrolls. Yummy!! I'm going to attempt to make these at home.
I'm so thankful for Joel. He is such a wonderful husband and father. He works so hard so that I can be home with our kids. He is such a great example to me in many ways. I love you hunny. Thanks for the past 9 years. 9 years and going strong!!

Joel wakeskating.

Not too shabby for a 30 year old. Love you!!

Tayler along for the ride.

Nephew Corbin. Seriously the funniest kid ever!!

The kids on the tube.

I guess Kaleb got tired.

Sister-in-law Deidre along for the ride.

Apparently Jesse has gotten bigger in his old age. Can't fit in the life jacket anymore. Too funny.

Real soccer game

My brother-in-law works for US bank. I believe they are a sponsor for Real soccer. Anyway, they give away tickets to a family with a 5-7 year old kid. That kid then gets to go meet the mascot Leo, dress up like a little Leo and run on the field and do fun things with the mascot and of course watch the game. Well, Kaleb was offered that chance. He was pretty hesitant from the beginning just talking about it. So Joel took Kaleb. Well, I guess Kaleb was pretty nervous. They wanted him to put on the costume which was wet and smelly. Eww!! So Joel told Kaleb he didn't have to put it on, which he didn't want to put on anyway. So they gave him his own Real jersey which is really nice. So then they tried to get him to run out onto the field. Now of course Joel had asked Chris, my brother-in-law, before "what if Kaleb doesn't want to do it?" Chris' response was "I don't know. We've never had anyone not do it". Well of course my son would be the one to not want to do it. So they let him just enjoy the game. Joel said that he had a great time watching the game and all the crazy fans. So thanks Chris for allowing us to have the opportunity. Sorry he didn't go through with it.

Leo the Lion

Trying to get him excited. Not working!

Poor Kaleb!

Don't make me do it!!

Wheeler Farm

Went to wheeler farm with grandma and grandpa Harmon. Had a free meal courtesy of jordan school district and enjoyed the farm animals. The kids loved the animals, especially the ducks.

In the outhouse. At least you don't have to go alone.
