Last week we went to Island Park Idaho. It was so much fun. We stayed in a big cabin with Joel's family and went snowmobiling. It was my first time driving a snowmobile. I was a little nervous. But I only tipped it over once. I'm definately not as fast as Joel and the guys, but I go fast enough for me. Kaleb really enjoyed the rides. He would always fall asleep on them. Here are some pics of me and the fam!
My friend Heidi tagged me. So basically I'm suppose to just write 7 weird or random things about me that others may not know. So here goes...
1. Some people may know that I was born on Easter. Which is really funny because my husband Joel was born on Christmas and My oldest, Kaleb, was due on Halloween. We thought we were going to have a bunch of holiday kids. But Kaleb came a week early. Thankfully, Easter is always changing. Poor Joel, his always stays the same.
2. I am the youngest of 5 kids. I was the second to get married, but the first to have children. I have two beautiful kids, Kaleb and Avree. My brother married a girl with 3 kids, so now we have some cousins. They are so much fun.
3. I've only broken one bone in my body. It was my wrist. I broke it by swinging on the swing and falling and trying to catch myself. Which didn't work so well. I was 8 years old. My parents took me to Alta View hospital. About an hour after I left the hospital there was a man who went in to the womens center there and killed a nurse I think. I can't remember but you probably can. It was all over the news and they even made a movie about it. The guys name was Worthington. Strange enough, years later I met and became friends with his nephew. Small world.
4. I am a game girl. I love to play card games and dominoes. I'm also a puzzler. I love to do puzzles when I have some spare time. I haven't done one in a long time since I have a 3 year old that likes to help, but doesn't. I really look forward to when my kids are old enough that I can actually play a real game with them. Not that I don't enjoy playing turtles and Diego.
5. I really enjoy being outdoors. Anytime I can go for a walk or to the park with my kids, I do. We are really looking forward to some warm weather. I enjoy snowboarding, snowmobiling, boating, trying to wakeboard, and just relaxing in the sun. I'm well overdue for a nice sunny vacation on the beach. Hint Hint Joel!!
6. I've been a dancer since I was about 4. I took ballet until I was 15 and jazz for 1 year before I made the drill team at Bingham High School. I really enjoyed it. When I started in 98 the team was not known for being the best. They had new coaches that year and we completely turned the team around. By my Senior year, we had taken Region, which Bingham had never done. Since then I think the team took state 3 years in a row. What a fun and challenging experience. But I loved every moment of it. About two years ago I took and adult ballet class. It was so much fun. I then got pregnant with Avree, but I'm wanting to take more classes if possible.
7. I'm really not that interesting of a person. Some things I love to do is girls night out. I try to go about once a month with some girl friends to dinner and movie. That's my time to catch up on all the chick flicks I miss. I also enjoy reading when I can. Recently I finished Harry Potter 6 and am listening to the 7th book. I've also wanted to read the Twilight series. I've heard so much about it. So if anyone has it, I'd love to borrow it.

Kaleb and Avree took their first bath together. They had so much fun splashing in the tub. I had to take some pictures of them. Don't worry, they are censored.
Christmas this year was a lot of fun. Joel woke up Kaleb and told him to go see if Santa Claus had come. So Kaleb excitedly ran to the family room and went passed the tree straight to the fire place. I guess he thought Santa was still here. Anyway, he finally noticed the presents and was eager to open them all. His most prized present was his Transformer. Avree tried to open her presents but seemed to like the boxes the best.
After opening our presents at home, we all got ready to go to Gma and Gpa Harmons home for brunch. We met up there with the whole family and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We then exchanged family gifts. After relaxing there for a while we went to Pilchers home for dinner. We celebrated Joel's birthday with some delicious homemade pumpkin pie by Gma Arlene. Joel was very greatful for the gifts and donations for his snowmobile. If you didn't know, Joel started a snowmobile fund in November. He's done a great job achieveing his goal. Now that he has the money, he's had a hard time finding the one he wants. Hang in there Joel. One will pop up eventually.
