Tayler Evalynn Pilcher

Well, she's finally here. Tayler Evalynn Pilcher was born on June 30, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. 19 1/2 in. She is so beautiful. The delivery went great. We arrived at the hospital at 10:30 and they started me around 11. Tayler was born at 3:52. When they layed her on me, she didn't even cry. I was kind of worried, but I think she's just that way. She hardly cries at all. So besides the recovery, which isn't fun at all, things are going great. The kids think she is so cute and Avree always wants to give her a pacifier. We are so grateful to have Tayler in our family.

Summer Fun

The other night we had the neighbors over to roast marshmellows and have smores. I pulled out one of our blankets and the kids played dinosaur twister. Joel made it up for them. It was pretty funny. Here some pics of the kids playing. So creative.

Soccer fun!

We got together with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law from chile to watch the soccer game. They thought it would be fun to paint faces. Kaleb wanted a zorro mask look for his paint. He loved it so much we went to see toy story 3 with it on. He probably would've slept with it on to, but I made him wash it off. So thanks Cali & Chris for making the games so much fun for the kids.

St. George trip in May

Last month we had the privilege of going to St. George with my parents and brothers family. We stayed in my parents condo and went swimming and really enjoyed the nice weather. One day we went to Sand Hollow which was really windy. We set up some shade on the beach while Joel and my dad and brother and Avree went for a ride in the rhino. They were gone for quite a while so I decided to call Joel and check on them. I was able to reach Joel but he was busy trying to dig themselves out of the sand. They high centered right on top of the mountain. Avree was doing great until she decided she wanted out of the rhino and stood on top of the mountain getting blown over and caked with sand. Needless to say, she doesn't want to go back to the sand dunes again.
The next day we went trail riding around hurricane and found some dinosaur tracks and an old fort. Then we ventured to Arizona to Pipe Springs, crossing through Colorado City to site see all the polygamist. Wow that was interesting. The kids had such a fun time, they both passed out in the car on the way home, Avree still holding onto her half eaten laffy taffy. So thanks mom and dad for a wonderful trip, probably our only trip this summer since baby #3 is almost here.
